ryokko is operated from Melbourne, Australia. When this policy says “we”, “us”, or “ryokko”, it refers to the team behind ryokko.xyz and the ryokko travel planner app.
What we collect
We collect the following information:
- Email address — when you join the waitlist or sign up for early access.
- Usage analytics — anonymous page view and interaction data collected by Vercel Analytics. This data does not identify you personally and does not use cookies.
How we use your information
- To send you updates about ryokko, including early access invitations and product announcements.
- To understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it.
We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties. We do not send spam.
Cookies
The ryokko marketing site does not set cookies. Vercel Analytics uses a privacy-friendly, cookieless approach to collect anonymous usage data.
Data storage and security
Waitlist email addresses are stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Our infrastructure is hosted on Vercel and Supabase, both of which maintain SOC 2 compliance.
Your rights
You can:
- Unsubscribe from emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email we send.
- Request deletion of your data by emailing hello@ryokko.xyz.
- Request access to the data we hold about you.
If you are in the EU, you have additional rights under the GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. If you are in Australia, the Australian Privacy Act 1988 applies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without your consent.
